The holidays are coming up! And September 23rd will be a red letter day for the Gwangju Art Class– the weekend before Chuseok.
Join us for our new exhibition, RED LETTER DAYS, and for a sit-down Paint and Sip Acrylic painting workshop. Bring yourself in old painting clothes, your beverage of choice and some friends!
Arrive at 2 pm to mingle, meet new friends, and complete some stress-free station activities while you wet your whistle with wine and cheese.
We will begin our acrylic painting workshop around 2:30 pm, painting illuminated letters. Think: fancy monograms that you can personalize based on your own style.
Since the focus is text based, you don’t have to worry about drawing skills. We’ll provide some examples, but feel free to bring doodles and inspiration in print or on your phone.
Artists, Lisa Casaus and Olivia Laurel have experience with acrylic paint and will demonstrate various techniques, so feel free to come with questions as well!
TO PARTICIPATE:
Reservation is required to hold your spot as we have a limited supply of space and materials.

ATTENTION:
Be aware that acrylic paint will damage clothes, and does not wash out if allowed to dry. Our recommendation: dress in clothes you don’t mind risking!
See you there!
